After serving in the Marines for 6 years, Ron spent ten years at Bolt, Beranek and Newman, a diverse research and scientific think tank in Cambridge, MA – responsible for internal and external technical infrastructure communication fabrics – designing, building, creating and integrating. After he formed Information Systems by Design Inc. in Boston – offering services in Consulting, Engineering, Software and Systems Integration. The firm had over 500 clients, offices and staff in 10 states, and worked with many industry groups including medical, legal, educational, forestry, fishing, farming, construction, technology, advertising, arts & entertainment. Ron sold the company in 2003. Other companies during that time were formed and sold, including an investment/trading company operating out of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Lighthouse Investment Inc.
Living in Arizona Ron excelled in the Mortgage and Real Estate industries holding both licenses – and for over $25 million in real-estate fundings annually. After the mid 2000’s real-estate and financial crisis he left those industries to focus on “turn around” consulting – and was a leader at SCORE – a business coaching group made up of retired executives.
Ron is known to be uniquely able to dissect business issues in literally any industry group – and then present options which best fit a client’s needs. His focus now is solely on the cannabis industry – primarily best practices in all phases from growth, harvest, extraction, product development/distribution – The analysis and integration of new technologies to make constant improvements in efficiency and effectiveness. This leads to measurable positive outcomes for the client.
