PROFILE

Mr. Saad’s primary focus is to advise and assist high growth and middle market companies in the
technology, healthcare and cannabis sector to realize their short-term goals and long-term
objectives, with meaningful and ongoing strategic and corporate advisory services. In addition, his
team of supporting corporate finance bankers and industry specialists assist in other investment
banking services, including public and private capital raising, mergers, acquisitions, and
divestitures, strategic alliances, licensing arrangements, fairness opinions and in-depth business
valuations.
Mr. Saad has held senior merchant banking positions in his 45-year career, mostly in London, with
Wells Fargo, Salomon Brothers and The Phillimore Group- a corporate finance advisory and venture
capital firm which specialized in the technology sector.
Mr. Saad has extensive experience negotiating, structuring and executing complex financial
transactions and corporate restructurings, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, debt and
equity capital raising, principally in the technology sector, representing mobile telecommunication
carriers, Internet and valued-added converged technology businesses, fintech and health-tech
companies. Since 2015, he has been devoting much of his time to the cannabis sector and plant
based-formulations for population health.
